Comença el gran viatge / The big trip begins

Ha arribat el moment de començar aquest gran viatge!!!

Han estat uns mesos molt intensos des del moment que vaig decidir fer aquest viatge fins al dia d'avui. I crec que no ha estat gens fàcil; comunicar-ho a tothom, enllestir tots els preparatius, demanar una excedència d'un any deixant una feina que m'agrada, uns companys genials, uns amics increibles i una familia que m'estima com ningú. I el més difícil de tot, les despedides... Han estat difícils perque em fa molta pena pensar que estaré un temps lluny de la meva gent, però també m'ha servit per adonar-me l'especial que és la gent que m'envolta, així que sé que portaré a tothom a la meva motxilla i per això estreno el blog, que em van regalar els meus amics, ara que estic al primer vol, Barcelona - Madrid - La Habana.

I no començo aquest gran viatge sol, compartiré l'experiència cubana amb tres grans amics, la Isa i la Silvia, i el dia 8 arriba el Luis, un amic que també farà un gran viatge i compartirem una part d'aquest fins algun punt que ens separarem perquè ens ve de gust fer una part d'aquesta experiència sols. La meva germana i el meu cunyat també havien de venir pero ella s'ha fet mal a la mà i no pot viatjar, així que ens trobarem al cami més endavant.

  

Estic molt emocionat i tinc moltes ganes d'aprendre de diferents cultures, persones i situacions. I crec que es molt difícil empapar-te d'altres societats sense estar-hi un temps, fixar-te amb els petits detalls, les coses que marquen la diferència... Aquest és un dels motius pels quals em vaig adonar que volia fer un viatge llarg, sense molta pressió del temps i deixant-me portar pel que m'envolta.

Us trobaré molt a faltar!!

This big trip has started!!!

The last months, from the moment I decided doing this trip until today, have been so intense. And I think that it hasn't been so easy; communicate it to everyone, get everything ready, ask for a leave for one year, leaving a job that I like, amazing colleagues, incredible friends and a family that loves me. And the hardest thing, the farewells... They have been difficult because I'm so sad thinking that I'll be sometime far away from my people. On the other side, it has helped me to realize how unique is the people who surounds me. Therefore I know that I'll bring everyone in my backpack and that's why I use for the first time my blog, that my friends made as a present, in my first flight, Barcelona - Madrid - La Habana.

And I don't start this big trip alone, I'll share the cuban experience with three good friends, Isa and Silvia, and on the 8th Luis arrives, who also will do a big trip and we will share it until a certain point that we will split as both of us want to do part of this experience on our own. My sister and my brother in law had to come as well, but she got injured in the hand and is not able to travel, anyway we'll meet on the way.

I'm so excited and I really want to learn about the different cultures, people and situations. And I think it's really difficult to go deep in the other societies without spending some time, paying attention to the small details and the things that make the difference. This is one of the reasons for which I realized that I wanted to do a big trip, without time pressure and going with the flow that surounds me.
